This is probably the biggest news that we have ever brought you: You will soon be able to shop at Park and Pond in two locations! We will be opening a pop-up at the California Historical Society Bookstore on April 7th and will be there until August. We’ll have a nice selection of things that you know and love from Park and Pond with an emphasis on California themed items. Check it out and let us know what you think!

2013 is the Year of the Bay in San Francisco in celebration of the America’s Cup yacht race and the opening of a new Bay Bridge span. Curating the Bay reflects the bay’s environmental and cultural history with more than 150 objects from our collections, and featuring the interactive website yearofthebay.org. This exhibition is curated by Jon Christensen, our second Curating California scholar-in-residence and adjunct assistant professor and Pritzker fellow at the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and the Department of History at the University of California, Los Angeles.
